We run public understanding talks twice each month. These events have always been free and unticketed, and we hope to keep it that way. However, we do ask for a donation of £3 from those who can spare it, though every penny helps.
Our only source of funding is donations from those who come along to our events, and we appreciate the support of our regular attendees very much.
Glasgow Skeptics was founded in November 2009, and began hosting monthly public engagement talks. In November 2010, Glasgow Skeptics hosted our first ticketed all-day event, Skeptics in the Tron, which was followed up in June 2011 with #Skeptron. After a 6 month trial period, from January that year, it was decided in July 2011 to move to a fortnightly schedule, hosting two events each month.
