DESCRIPTION:It’s a landmark event for Glasgow Skeptics as we hit an amazing milestone of 200 events. As such\, it’s time to celebrate with something special. There WILL be cake\, and there will be #Dave … \n\nIs Dave Literally the Best Magician? He certainly thinks so and intends to spend an hour proving it. Working through every genre of Magic\, Dave hopes to ‘one up’ the classics of conjuring.\nOk\, enough of this third person charade. I’m doing a Magic show. It’ll be really good\, you should totally come. In the past I’ve focused on mentalism (y’know that Derren Brown mind reading business) but I thought I’d step away from that and have a go at old school stuff. Participants are under no obligation whatsoever to donate\, however please rest assured that the money we collect doesn’t end up in anyone’s pocket – it is used to fund our overhead costs\, and travel/accommodation for our speakers who come from further afield.\n \n\nAccessibility: As per the policy of the Admiral Bar\, access to the venue “can only be provided to patrons who are sufficiently mobile and capable of independently evacuating premises\, or with the minimum of assistance”. Unfortunately\, this leaves the basement inaccessible to most wheelchair users.\n \n
