DESCRIPTION:Will you be waking up tomorrow to the call form an autonomous group of bulldozers that collectively decided that your house needs to get moved to make way for a hyper-speed motorway through your smart city? \nArtificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems are the main driving forces behind the new fourth industrial revolution – a silent revolution that is already happening around all of us\, changing the way we talk\, shop\, and perceive the world. This talk will give you an “in a nutshell” insight into the latest developments of these technologies\, how they work and where we are today. \n\nView event on Facebook\nView event on Meetup\n\n  \nAbout the speaker:\nProfessor Jorn Mehnen is working at the University of Strathclyde in the field of Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. His research interests lie in Advanced Digital Manufacturing for industrial application.
