Denialists: The who and why of evolution rejection, and their links with climate change denial
Summary: For our closest event to Darwin Day: The talk will survey evolution rejection around the world, and discuss why it is so prevalent in some countries, over 200 years after Darwin and Wallace’s theories were unveiled. Especially worrying are countries where rejection of evolution has extended into national education practice. Some experience from Scotland will be covered.
